What to do
- Choose the picture cards you want to use for this activity. Group your students in pairs and distribute the cards among them.
- Have one student in each pair choose a card and clap out the phonemes for the word the picture represents.
- The student's partner checks to make sure he or she is correct. You may wish to move from pair to pair to verify that both students are on the right track. Note any students who have particular difficulty in an Activity Log.
