| Goal: Given uppercase and lowercase letter cards, students will identify letter names and sounds fluently. |
| Items: Uppercase and lowercase alphabet, letter sounds |
What to do
- Turn over all the letter cards so that they are face-down in front of your student.
- Turn over one of the letter cards and ask the student to respond with the correct letter name and sound.
- Repeat the previous step for the remaining cards. With practice, students will be more likely to identify all letters quickly and accurately.
- If students have difficulty with particular letters or sounds you may wish to note these details in an Activity Log.
