“Mom, what is that stuff in the attic?” Ann said.

“Stuff, what stuff?” said Mom.

“I saw a bag, a ball and a bat.”

Mom grinned. “That stuff. Well, the bat, the bag, and the ball I hid fromgot as a gift for Dad. ”

“Dad, can we play ball?” said Ann.

“I do not have a bat or ball,” said Dad.

Ann grinned, “In the attic, you do.”
